To add Google Analytics to your V3 website, you will first need to create an account with Google.
They may ask you to validate your domain name. If so, please refer to our article here on how to do so.
Once you have created your Google account they will provide you with
javascript code which you need to copy and paste into each page of your
website that you want tracked, as follows:
- Click on Website Controls
- Click on Manage Pages and Galleries
- Click the Edit button beneath the page or gallery you want to add the code to
- Scroll down to the Metatags section within the Page or Gallery Settings tab and click Show
- Copy the supplied code in the Custom Header Tag exactly as it was
supplied to you, otherwise your website will not function properly
*If the script (supplied code) is placed onto the homepage of your website it will by default be used on the other pages.
