How to create hyperlinks between pages and to other websites using the Text/HTML editor

The following assumes that you've already added a Text/HTML asset to a page and are creating a hyperlink within the text or to an image you inserted.

To create internal links to pages within your own website, you need to do is the following:
  1. Click on the image or highlight the text you wish to turn into a hyperlink in the text area
  2. Click the Link button in the editor's tool bar
  3. Select Other from the Protocol menu
  4. Paste in the Internal URL of the destination page or gallery which you can find in the Page/Gallery Settings tab
  5. Press the OK button
Note: Please do not set the target to "_self" if trying to open the page in the Content Window as it will do this by default.

To create external links, you need to do is the following:
  1. Click on the image or highlight the text you wish to turn into a hyperlink in the text area
  2. Click the Link button in the editor's tool bar
  3. Select URL from the Link Type menu
  4. Select http:// from the Protocol menu
  5. Paste in the URL to the web page you'd like to link your viewers to
  6. Click on the Target tab
  7. Select New Window from the Target menu
  8. Press the OK button
